What is the Fall BrewFest and how does it work?
The Fall BrewFest is a fantastic craft beer sampling festival for adults at least 21 years of age. Your admission ticket includes a souvenir sampling glass and 6 sampling tickets. The sampling glass is 5.00 oz. and will be filled accordingly, giving you a 4.5 – 5.0 oz. pour. All beer samples will will cost 1 ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased for $2.00 per ticket.

Is my admission ticket good for both days?
No. Your admission ticket is good for one day only. However which day you choose to come is up to you. NOTE: IF you purchase a “special offer” ticket it will be valid only on that day!

Do I need an ID?
Yes. A valid identification which includes a photo is required for admission to the event.

Do you have a Designated Driver Ticket program?
Yes, the DD program is available for attendees 16 and older. Free water and soda is included in the price of this ticket.

How many drinks are included with the Designated Driver ticket? (Really, it is asked at least once every festival!)
NO DRINKS are included with the Designated Driver ticket. Water and other non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price of the Designated Driver ticket.

How can I be a vendor?
Vendor applications are available by mail, email, fax or download from the website. Click on either the Arts & Crafts (make what you sell) or Commercial Vendors page for more information. Applications are on the Forms page. If you have questions, need additional information or cannot download the forms, email [email protected] or call 703-923-0800.

Can my band play at the BrewFest?
Maybe! Performer packets and submissions are accepted from August 1 through September 15 for the Fall BrewFest. Submit electronic materials to [email protected] and non-electronic materials to Music Coordinator, The High Road, Inc., P. O. Box 2056, Springfield, VA 22152.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
No. Outside food and beverage will not be allowed into the event. After all, we are going to provide plenty of opportunities to try great food and drink while you’re here! NOTE: Bottled water and baby food are permitted.

Can I purchase beer to take home?
No. This is a keg event and our ABC license prohibits sales for consumption off-site.

Will there be other alcoholic beverages like wine or hard cider?
Yes. There will be several hard ciders available for purchase using the beer tickets which you can purchase at the festival. Wine is not available at the Fall BrewFest.

Is Food and Drink included in my ticket price?
Yes and No! (Yes) Six (6) beer sampling tickets are included with the adult admission ticket purchased online via the BrewFest website or at the gate. Additional sampling tickets are available for $2.00 at the festival. (No) Food is purchased separately from our variety of vendors. Food prices typically range from about $4-$10 depending on the item purchased.

(NOTE: discounted and promotional admission tickets DO NOT INCLUDE SAMPLING TICKETS.)

Do you accept credit card payments at the gate for admission to the festival?
Yes. Credit cards are accepted at the gate for admission.

Will there be an ATM on-site?
Yes. There will be at least one ATM on-site. It is located convenient to the food booths and beer sampling tents.

Can I bring my children?
Definitely. We have a Family Fun Area dedicated to children including a moon bounce, face painting, balloon artist and more.  Children 15 and under accompanied by an adult are FREE.

How much are children’s tickets?
Children 15 years of age and under accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge. Most of the activities in the Family Fun area are also free. No ticket is required for children 15 years of age or under accompanied by an adult to enter the event.

Can I bring my pet?
No, we do not allow pets except for assistance animals.

Can I leave my car overnight?
Yes, if you need to leave your car overnight it is okay. Better safe than sorry!

Will there be Taxicabs or ride services available after the event?
Lyft provides service to the Fall BrewFest and, as a sponsor, offers specials for patrons of the of the festival. If you need help contacting Lyft ask our Gate or Box Office Manager for assistance.

Also, we have alerted the local cab companies that our event is taking place and they will be on hand as available. If a cab is not immediately available we will assist you in securing a cab.

Can I bring my own chairs, blankets, etc.?
Yes, please feel free to bring beach chairs, blankets, and the like to set up and enjoy the bands. Please don’t bring coolers though. Also, please be considerate of other festival goers when setting up – especially a tent.

What happens if it rains?
Rain? On a BrewFest? NEVER! (Okay maybe once.) The Fall BrewFest is a rain or shine event.

How do I get a press pass?
Working media will be admitted by presenting proper credentials at the Box Office. Media admission will not include beer tickets.

Can I volunteer at the BrewFest?
ABSOLUTELY! Interested volunteers can submit a simple application online to work at the BrewFest. Volunteers will receive admission to the festival and a t-shirt. For more information about Volunteers or email [email protected]

Can I get paid to work at the BrewFest?
Maybe. A limited number of paid opportunities are sometimes available for work during the week leading up to the BrewFest, during the event itself, and/or following the event. Please contact us if you are interested: [email protected]

Are discounted group tickets available?
Yes, discounted group tickets are available for groups of 20 or more and must be purchased at one time to qualify for Group Rate. Groups receive a 10% discount off the Advance Ticket Price. For more information about Group and Hospitality Packages or email [email protected] or call 703-923-0800.
